Government has set an export target of Rs27,15 billion

In the approved Strategic Trade Policy Framework, the federal government has set an export target of Rs. 27.15 billion for the current fiscal year 2021-22, which corresponds to the current fiscal year 2021-22.
In the proposed STPF 2020-25, according to sources, the Ministry of Commerce has set an export target of Rs 27.15 billion for the current fiscal year 2021-22, which corresponds to the current fiscal year 2020-22.
The value of exports for the fiscal year 2020-21 reached Rs. 25.36 billion, with the textile sector accounting for the majority of the total, compared to the objective of Rs. 24.14 billion.
According to reliable sources, the Ministry of Commerce has completed the Strategic Trade Policy Framework after taking into consideration the concerns of the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and the Federal Board of Revenue.
In a meeting held in March, the central bank and the tax department expressed their concerns, and sources claim that the Ministry of Commerce incorporated the views of the SBP and the FBR into the draft STPF 2020-25.
The ECC postponed the clearance last Friday due to the absence of Razzaq Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce, and the Secretary of Commerce, who were both present.
