KARACHI: The Sindh government will supply agricultural machinery to farmers in affordable installments, according to Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister on Agriculture Manzoor Hussain Wassan, who spoke to dignitaries from various walks of life on Thursday, according to a release.
The dignitaries arrived at the adviser’s mansion, where a lot of farmers were also present.
“[The] Sindh government is working hard to raise farmer awareness about the use of modern agriculture techniques and technology, and we want to launch new initiatives in this regard,” Wassan added.
“Through agricultural self-sufficiency, we are attempting to conserve our valuable foreign cash, which we spend every year on the import of edible oil,” added the adviser.
“We also get help from Malaysia and other nations for improving and promoting our agriculture sector,” Wassan explained.
