The Kamyab Pakistan Programme Will Help 4.5 Million Poor Families

Kamyab Pakistan Programme: According to a senior government official, the government’s Kamyab Pakistan Program intends to help the 4.5 million impoverished households registered with the National Socio-Economic Registry (NSER) of the Ehsaas program.

Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Shaukat Tarin welcomed important participants from the private sector and praised their professional skills in different disciplines while chairing a meeting of the Kamyab Pakistan Programme’s Steering Committee and Advisory Board via video-link.

He thanked everyone for their important input/suggestions for the program and emphasized the importance of ensuring the program’s effective execution through a collaborative and unified approach.

The Kamyab Pakistan Programme is a flagship program that will give micro-loans to entrepreneurs, small businessmen, and farmers, allowing them to access micro credit at 0% markup without collateral, he said, adding that the program will help poor families break the cycle of poverty.

The conference was meant to finalize the details of the Kamyab Pakistan Program, which is set to debut soon.
