The Stock Exchange market has dropped 489 points

ISLAMABAD- The KSE 100-index of the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) had a bearish trend on Thursday, dropping 489.72 points, representing a negative change of 1.02 percent, and closing at 47,563.45 points, compared to 48,053.17 points on the previous working day. While a total of 505,993,802 shares were traded throughout the day, this was down from the previous day’s transaction of 475,238,072 shares. The price of shares was Rs15.374 billion, compared to the previous day’s price of Rs21.313 billion. Four hundred and sixty-six firms transacted shares on the stock market, with 159 making a profit and 237 suffering a loss, while the share prices of ten companies stayed steady.
