Wakar Zaka donated Rs. 1 million to Pakistan’s Olympian Arshad Nadeem upon his return from Japan.
While he did not win a medal in the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 Javelin Throw competition, Nadeem’s efforts earned Zaka’s praise. The former TV host-turned-crypto enthusiast had promised on Twitter that he would personally present Nadeem with a monetary award when he returned home, and he fulfilled his word.

Following his arrival at Lahore International Airport, the athlete proceeded to his birthplace of Mian Channu, where locals escorted his car to his house to celebrate him for representing Pakistan in the world’s oldest and largest sports championship.
Rai Taimoor Khan Bhatti, Punjab’s Minister for Sports, greeted Nadeem at the airport and hailed his outstanding performance.
He wrote on Twitter:
