Ernie Lively, actor and father of Blake Lively, passes away at age 74

Ernie Lively, an American actor, died in Los Angeles on March 30th at the age of 74.
Blake Lively’s father suffered a cardiac incident and passed away after his cardiac condition worsened in Los Angeles, a representative for the actor confirmed to People magazine.
His film career began in Hollywood when he made his first big-screen appearance in 1969, on the hit show The Waltons. In addition to this, he is known for appearing on several other popular television shows, including The Dukes of Hazzard, The West Wing, The X-Files, That ‘70s Show, Falcon Crest, and Malibu Shores.
Having worked in films like The Man in the Moon, Air America, Shocker, Passenger 57, The Beverly Hillbillies, and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, Jim already had a notable career in the film industry, as he was credited in numerous movies including Shocker, Air America, Passenger 57, The Beverly Hillbillies, and The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants.
One of the five children Blake was raised by his adoptive mother Elaine Lively was Ernie. Not only does the couple’s other child, Eric, have a career in acting, their other children, Robyn, Lori, and Jason all have occupations in the acting industry as well.
