Megan Thee Stallion is well aware that she is a ‘girl’s girl,’ and she embraces it.
In her acceptance remarks, the up-and-coming singer, who won four accolades last year, spoke on the importance of being supported by and supportive of other women in the industry. Megan recently spoke with PEOPLE magazine about her political beliefs.
“It’s important for me to be known as a girl’s girl because a lot of the time the industry tries to paint a picture that women don’t support each other…that girls can’t be in the same field without being competitive and catty,” she explains. “It’s important for me to be known as a girl’s girl because a lot of the time the industry tries to paint a picture that women don’t support each other…that girls can’t “But as for myself, I adore all of the ladies and I want everyone to know that I do not believe in such nonsense.
Then she says, “I’m in my lane, you’re in your lane, and, you know, I love good music,” which she continues. “Look at all of these women.”
