- 10 people were killed in Punjab’s Okara as a result of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and high winds.
- In one case, the roof of a home fell, killing eight individuals, four of whom were women and four of whom were children.
- Rain fell in Sheikhupura, Pakpattan, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, and Chunian as well.
OKARA: A severe storm, lightning, and torrential rains rocked Okara Monday night, killing at least ten people.
In one case, the roof of a home fell, killing eight individuals, four of whom were women and four of whom were children.
Furthermore, two persons were killed in the separate wind and rain-related accidents.
According to rescuers, Sohail, 40, and Ahmad Ali, 50, were killed when a tree fell in Kachehri Bazaar, Okara, and a wall collapsed in Haveli Lakha.
A roof collapsed in the Tariqabad district of Okara, killing four mothers and four children from the same household.
Rain rained at Sheikhupura, Pakpattan, Kasur, Nankana Sahib, and Chunian, among other places. Wind and rain caused power outages in numerous locations of the LESCO region.
