Bus and Truck hit, killed 28 people in Dera Ghazi Khan

In an accident between a passenger bus and a vehicle in Dera Ghazi Khan, at least 28 people were killed and more than 60 were injured.

On Taunsa Road near Jhok Yaro in Dera Ghazi Khan, a bus going from Sialkot to Rajanpur collided with a truck.

Dr Nayyar Alam, district emergency officer rescue, said 28 persons were killed in the bus accident.

According to Dr. Nayyar, the bus carried 75 passengers. The collision harmed more than 60 persons. All of the injured have been sent to the Teaching Hospital.

According to rescue sources, the bus and trailer were removed from the area and traffic was resumed.

Usman Buzdar, the Chief Minister of Punjab, regretted the deaths in the Taunsa traffic tragedy.

He expressed his condolences to the grieving families. The Punjab Chief Minister has directed that the injured be provided with the finest medical care possible.

In a statement, he stated he is with the families of the departed during this difficult time.
