COVID-19 cases in Pakistan have risen by 861, with an added 18 deaths

ISLAMABAD, COVID-19 cases in Pakistan reported 861 new COVID-19 cases and 18 additional deaths on Monday, according to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) on Tuesday.
The NCOC said that the total number of cases has risen to 1,510,221 – including 1,442,938 recoveries.
Currently, the country has 37,087 active cases, including 988 patients in serious condition.

According to NCOC data, 18 additional persons perished in Pakistan as a result of COVID-19, bringing the total death toll to 30,196.
Pakistan’s southern Sindh province is the most impacted, with 568,277 cases documented thus far, followed by the eastern Punjab province, which has reported 501,544 cases.
