The Government of Sindh has stated that all public and private universities would reopen on August 30th, effective immediately (Monday).

It has issued a notification, according to which universities would resume face-to-face classes with a minimum of 50% attendance while adhering strictly to the COVID-19 standard operating standards (SOPs).

Therefore, no student or employee will be permitted to access universities, dormitories, or offices unless they have received proof of coronavirus vaccination through their school.

According to a statement issued by the Sindh Education and Literacy Department, all schools in the province will resume on August 30 and will be permitted to function six days a week with a minimum of 50% attendance.

It stated in a notification that “all heads of educational institutions would ensure that 100 percent of teaching and non-teaching employees have been vaccinated by providing evidence to the respective regional head.”
