Imran Khan Govt Implemented, Single National Curriculum for KG to Class 5

To reduce educational disparities, the government is implementing a unified curriculum for KG to Class 5 in all educational institutions across Pakistan today.
In a special ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan will unveil the first phase of the Single National Curriculum (SNC).
The SNC was established in partnership with all education departments of the federating entities by the National Curriculum Council of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
The second part of the uniform curriculum will be implemented in the academic year 2022-23 for Classes 6, 7, and 8, and the third phase for Classes 9, 10, 11, and 12 will be implemented in the academic year 2023-24.
Shafqat Mahmood, Federal Minister for Education and Professional Training, stated that the current educational system is unjust, and that for the first time in the country, a consistent curriculum has been implemented.
In addition, he added that the consistent curriculum has been adopted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
