KARACHI: The intermediate examinations in Karachi will begin on July 26 following completion of all preparations, Board Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) Chairman Dr Saeeduddin announced Monday.
Over 155,000 pupils will sit for the intermediate exams, which will be held at 210 test centers, he said.
Dr Saeeduddin stated that sufficient measures have been taken to ensure exam transparency and to combat cheating.
“Special arrangements have been made to prevent illegal exam techniques.”
The BIEK chief stated that 66 locations have been designated as sensitive, and they have filed a letter to the Director General Rangers Sindh requesting security.
The Federal Investigation Agency’s Cybercrime Division has also been contacted in response to allegations about the usage of WhatsApp for cheating.
“If a student is caught using a mobile phone while writing, their work will be canceled.”
