It is the first time that the Lahore Police has developed an official website, and it is based on the ideals of citizen-centric policing and community awareness.

AIG Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, the Additional Inspector General (AIG) of the City Police of Lahore, as well as SSP Discipline Mubasher Makan, the SDPO North Cantt., ASP Bushra Nisar, and other top police officers, officially launched the website on Thursday.
For the benefit of citizens with disabilities, the website includes a functional disability mode. A complete list of top police officers, as well as their phone numbers, is also included in the document.
It would also publish seniority lists, promotion orders, exam and interview schedules, standing orders, and instructions affecting general members of any cadre of the Lahore Police on a consistent basis.
As previously stated, the website is user-friendly, has a one-page layout that is in accordance with international standards, and is protected by a robust anti-hacking Drupal CMS mechanism, according to the Central Commission for Public Order.
Lahore Police’s launch of an official website is a commendable step forward, but it only contains information about the department’s various divisions. The website also does not include an important feature of modern citizen-centric policing, namely, the ability to submit an online police report (FIR).
