Punjab Govt has released the timetable for the matric, intermediate exams

The Punjab Higher Education Department (HED) finalised a new timetable for matriculation and intermediate examinations to be followed throughout the state on Wednesday.

According to the revised timetable, all educational boards in Punjab will begin grade 12 examinations on June 26, while matriculation examinations will begin 15 days after intermediate examinations.

According to a planned timetable, grade 9 and grade 11 examinations would be held in September.

The Punjab Higher Education Department is expected to release the final test schedule in the next two days.

In accordance with the National Command and Operation Center’s (NCOC) directives, the Punjab government reopened all public and private schools in select areas on May 24th.

All public and private schools in 11 chosen areas resumed in-person courses, according to a statement issued by the Punjab School Education Department.

Educational institutions, on the other hand, are permitted to summon students on alternate days with 50% attendance. Schools in the chosen districts will be open four days a week.

“All relevant authorities must guarantee that COVID-19 standard operating procedures (SOPs) are followed in letter and spirit. The schools will be open for four days a week, with each child attending for two days,” according to the announcement.

According to the information, Bahawalnagar, Jhang, Nankana Sahib, Sahiwal, Chakwal, Jhelum, Narowal, Sheikhupura, Chiniot, Kasur, Pakpattan, Sialkot, Hafizabad, Mandi Bahuddin, Rajanpur, and Vehari would be required to adhere to the guidelines while following stringent SOPs.
