Teenagers Under 18 Traveling Overseas Will Receive Vaccines: NCOC

According to the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC), students who plan to study abroad will be given the Moderna vaccine.

On Friday, it announced on Twitter that citizens over the age of 18 are eligible for a coronavirus vaccination, but students aged 16, 17, and 18 who must travel abroad to study at universities where vaccination is required will be given the Moderna vaccine upon visa validation and the verification of their university documents.

Vaccination is open to all above 18 years of age. However, students aged 16-18 years, who need to go abroad to study at universities requiring mandatory vaccination will be administered the Moderna vaccine. (to be administered on checking valid visa/university documents).

Pakistan’s vaccination campaign is in full gear, and the country has already surpassed its target of one million immunizations per day by 3 August 2021.
