Babar Azam Has Scored the Highest Runs in International Cricket

Babar Azam, Pakistan’s all-round captain, is widely considered as one of the best batsmen in the world right now. His performances in all formats have been outstanding, and he has scored heavily regardless of the opposition or the circumstances.
Babar’s outstanding form in recent years has helped him climb the ICC batsmen rankings in all formats. He is now the number one ODI batting, the number two T20I batter, and the top seven Test batsman.
Babar has been the highest run-scorer in all formats of the game since 2019. Despite playing less matches than the second-placed Virat Kohli and the third-placed Joe Root over the span, he has scored more runs.
In the last two years, Babar has played 86 innings and scored 4,162 runs at an average of 53.35. During that span, he had the second-most centuries (11), as well as the second-most half-centuries (28).
Since 2019, Indian captain Virat Kohli has scored the most half-hundreds (29), and Indian opener Rohit Sharma has scored the most centuries (12).
