Prime Minister Imran Khan has congratulated Haider Ali on winning Pakistan’s first-ever gold medal at the Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020, which will be held in Japan.

The Prime Minister’s Office issued an official statement in which it stated that Prime Minister Imran Khan congratulated Haider Ali for winning Pakistan’s first-ever Paralympic Gold Medal at the Paralympics.

“His discus throw of 55.26 meters earned him the gold medal, bringing the entire PakistanFlag of Pakistan to its feet,” the statement continued.

Haider Ali was also congratulated by Babar Azam, the captain of the national cricket team, who remarked, “You have made us all proud.” Continue to be an inspiration to all of us.”

“Congratulations to #HaiderAli for winning Pakistan’s first gold medal at the Paralympic Games in the Men’s Discus Throw,” Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi wrote on Twitter.
