Ramiz Raja, a former Pakistan captain, is confirmed as the new chairman of a Pakistan Cricket Board. According to sources, Ramiz will take over for the previous chairman Ehsan Mani, who decided to resign when his contract expired on September 4 despite being handed a new short-term contract by PCB’s patron-in-chief, Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Mani thanked Prime Minister Imran Khan for giving him the opportunity to steer Pakistan Cricket in a positive path, and wished the incoming chairman the best of luck in leading Pakistan Cricket to new heights.
According to rumors, Ramiz will be officially proclaimed as PCB chairman following the elections which are scheduled on September 13th. Ramiz has already accepted the offer to become the board’s new chairman.
Ramiz expressed excitement about the prospect and believes that Pakistan cricket is now facing a number of unique problems. He expressed confidence that the PCB will be able to overcome the hurdles and lead Pakistan cricket to new heights.

The 59-year-old took to Twitter to share his excitement about taking on new challenges. He cleverly stated that he had gone from bowling bouncers to facing bouncers in a matter of days.
