OnePlus is gearing up to introduce a new addition to its OnePlus Ace 2 Pro series, specifically the high-end Ace 2 Pro variant. However, prior to any official announcement, a recent leak has surfaced, divulging some of its key specifications.

According to a reputable source, Digital Chat Station, who shared the details on Weibo, the Chinese microblogging website, it is speculated that the Ace 2 Pro could potentially be the global version of the device. Earlier this year, OnePlus had unveiled the Ace 2 and Ace 2V models exclusively in the Chinese market.

The upcoming Ace 2 Pro is anticipated to offer upgraded specifications, including a new processor. It is rumored that OnePlus will opt for Qualcomm’s latest and most advanced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.

Digital Chat Station further revealed that the display of the forthcoming Ace 2 model from OnePlus will feature a 1.5K resolution curved panel. In simpler terms, it is likely to be an AMOLED panel with Full HD+ resolution and curved edges. The display supplier for this smartphone is purportedly BOE. If this information holds true, it suggests that the Ace 2 Pro will be a more affordable flagship device, potentially compromising on certain features present in the OnePlus 11 model.

Additionally, there have been rumors suggesting that the cameras and battery pack of the Ace 2 Pro will be identical to those found in the base Ace 2 model. However, this aspect remains unclear at present. The Pro model is expected to make its debut in the second half of this year, so stay tuned for further updates on this device.
