Samsung Relaunches Galaxy A12 With Upgraded Chipset

The Galaxy A12 has been released in Europe with an upgraded chipset, according to Samsung. Other than the name, the Galaxy A12 Nacho is virtually identical to the original Galaxy A12, except that it has an Exynos 850 processor rather than the Helio P35 processor found in its predecessor.

6.5-inch LCD with 720p resolution and 60Hz refresh rate, having a refresh rate of 60 times per second. It sports a 20:9 aspect ratio and substantial surrounding bezels, as well as a waterdrop notch for the selfie camera. The rear panel is decorated in a two-tone pattern.

With the introduction of the Exynos 850, Samsung has supplanted the MediaTek Helio P35 with its own chip. This is paired with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with the option of adding an additional microSD card slot for more storage. It comes pre-installed with Android 11 and One UI 3.1 on top of it.

The rear-mounted quad-camera system contains a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultrawide lens, and a pair of 2MP sensors for depth sensing and macro photography. The front camera, which has a waterdrop notch, is an 8MP shooter. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and supports 15W rapid charging.
