Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, seen in leaked images with an under-display camera

The long-rumored Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will finally make its debut in the near future. According to rumors, it will go on sale in China on August 10 and will be the first Xiaomi phone to include an under-display (UD) selfie camera, similar to the ZTE Axon 20/30, which was previously announced.

The phone has appeared in yet another batch of leaked images before of its official release, this time demonstrating its full-screen display, which is made possible by the UD camera sensor. According to reports, these photographs were obtained from the supplier’s manufacturing facility.

In this case, due to the fact that the phone has an under-display camera, it was not able to add 2K resolution. As a result, the resolution is limited to 1080p, yet the panel is reported to be superior to standard FHD+ screens.

Another unique feature is the secondary display on the back of the phone, which is located next to the camera. The Mi Mix 4’s secondary screen appears to be wider than the Mi 11 Ultra’s secondary screen, which appears to be the same concept as the Mi 11 Ultra.

Preliminary sources have indicated that the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 will include a curved OLED panel with a fast refresh rate, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888+ SoC, 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There will be a 5,000 mAh battery onboard, which will be capable of fast charging at 120W.

The camera system will consist of a 50MP Samsung GN1 sensor, a 48MP ultrawide camera, and a 48MP telephoto lens, all of which will work together.

As previously stated, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 is slated to become officially available on August 10.
