Xiaomi is currently the market leader in rapid charging technology for smartphones, and it plans to preserve that position. Over the last year, the business has debuted 120W fast charging in various smartphones, with ambitions to bring 200W fast charging in 2022.
According to a new rumor, Xiaomi’s 200W fast charging technology will go into full production by June 2022 and will be included on a smartphone that same year.
According to the source, the Xiaomi Mi Mix 5 might be the first smartphone to use the technology, which is slated to be released in 2022. It may not support 120W fast wireless charging, but it does support 50W wireless charging.
According to the source, Xiaomi has two more top-of-the-line smartphones planned for 2022, with an emphasis on next-generation display and camera technology. The Mi Mix series, on the other hand, is noted for its unique displays, phone materials, and cameras, as well as its experimental technology.
For those who are unaware, Xiaomi’s 200W HyperCharge technology can charge a 4,000 mAh battery up to 50% in under 3 minutes. It can charge a battery completely in under 8 minutes. The brand’s wireless charging technology of 120W can charge a 4,000 mAh battery in just 15 minutes.
