SINGAPORE — On Monday, Singapore has reported 13,544 new confirmed cases of COVID-19, raising the total to 724,424.
According to Ministry of Health statistics, 1,973 new cases were found using PC+R (polymerase chain reaction) tests and 11,571 using ARTs (antigen rapid testing).
There were 1,907 local outbreaks and 66 imported cases among the PCR cases. There were 11,543 local transmissions and 28 imported infections among the ART subjects with mild symptoms and deemed low risk.
There are presently 1,649 cases in hospitals, with 49 in intensive care units.
According to the ministry, 12 more patients have died as a result of COVID-19 infection complications, bringing the total death toll to 1,019 people.
